Ajay Devgun is the owner and founder of Devgun Law. Ajay was born and raised in the Indian subcontinent. Ajay completed his articles with one of the best Family Law Firms in Edmonton in 2015. Ajay’s focus is to treat his clients the way he would like to be treated - with respect and dignity. Ajay is known for providing clients with the most cost-effective solutions possible. Ajay is an experienced negotiator, mediator, and litigator who prides himself on providing practical advice. Ajay has successfully appeared before the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, and the Provincial Court of Alberta.
Ajay is hapily married and a father to two beautiful children. Ajay enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the Canadian Rockies.

Jaskirt articled with Devgun Law and is the firm's first recruited lawyer. Jaskirt has successfully appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta.

Sunaina Singh
Student-at-Law
Sunaina Singh was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Sunaina recently completed her JD from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. Prior to attending Law school, Sunaina founded the MacEwan University Law Club and created a platform to help fellow students navigate the law school application process as well as the LSAT. Throughout her time in law school, Sunaina was Chair of Marketing for the Thompson Rivers University’s Society of law students as well as the Co-President of the South Asian Law Students Association. Sunaina also participated in the Thompson Rivers University’s Community Legal Clinic in which she was able to develop her practical legal skills and helped resolve Family Law matters.
In her free time, Sunaina enjoys discovering new restaurants, spending time with friends and playing basketball. Sunaina has a strong interest in Family Law and is looking forward to further developing her career at Devgun Law.

Courtney Bryant
Legal Assistant | Conveyancer | Office Manager
Courtney was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Courtney began working in the area of law in 2014, joining a downtown firm specializing in Criminal and Personal Injury Law. In 2016, Courtney decided to head back to school to pursue another interest of hers – travelling. Courtney completed her Travel & Tourism Diploma with Honours from CDI College of Business and Technology in 2016, and was hired by WestJet after finishing her practicum. In 2018, Courtney gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and spent the next few years raising her, and enjoying her time as a new Mother. In 2019, she decided to head back to work, and joined a firm, where she worked on Real Estate and Family Law matters. It was in September of 2021, that she joined Devgun Law. Courtney continues to excel in Real Estate and Family Law, as well as handling the Reception and Administrative work. In her spare time, Courtney enjoys taking her daughter on playdates, having weekly dinners with her family, and catching up with friends. One of her favourite things to do is travel, and she cannot wait to get back to exploring the world with her daughter.
